Manee Valentine as our Featured Musician of the Month International Latin singer Manee Valentine, also known as the voice from the heart, was born one fateful 14th of February, on Valentine’s Day. The artist was born as Manuel Valentin (first & middle name), but has long been called Manee. With a name like that, it is no wonder that he has made it his mission in life to sing about what else, but love!
He grew up in a musical family experiencing all the different styles of American, Latin and European music. He learned how to play a guitar from a very young age, which he uses to compose his own songs. Valentine came to realize that a jazz/pop with a big band format would be the selective genre to introduce his voice and his songs to the world as a new international crooner, singing songs that are representative of the golden era of classic standards, as well as with his own new contemporary originals, therefore solidifying his place in the music industry.
Critics and peers agree that Manee Valentine distinguishes himself as one of the premier singer/songwriters in the world. The perfect balance of sophisticated writing and velvety voice techniques makes Valentine a favorite performer with fervent fans that will span generations.
Valentine’s standard of excellence was set from the beginning, listening to such masters as Johnny Mathis, James Darren, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and of course the chairman of the board Mr. Frank Sinatra.
He was enthralled with the world of music and started singing and writing at a very early age. The range in his musical background spans from all the popular genres of traditional music in America, to the styles that became the backbone of what is now known as world adult contemporary.
Valentine’s release of Happy Valentine will soon become part of the American experience as the newest jingle song on Valentine’s Day for present and future generations. Through prolific writing and tireless performances, it is the quality of his production, relatable to a wide audience and revered by his peers, which continues to grow Valentine’s fan base.
